About Andrew Farrell

Andrew Farrell is a Senior at Furman University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Physics and Politics & International Affairs, recognized as a John D. Hollingsworth Scholar and Dean’s List honoree. As a Townes Research Fellow, Andrew has conducted independent materials science research, presenting his work at the prestigious Society of Physics Students Congress.

He has served as the Greenville Student Community Director for The Hill Institute for Innovation and Entrepreneurship, coordinating strategic initiatives and university programming. His global experience includes serving as a casework and policy intern in the UK House of Commons, where he supported parliamentary operations under Joy Morrissey, MP.

Andrew’s early civic engagement with the City of Charleston as a Mayoral Fellow fostered his passion for public policy, while his participation in the Duke-UNC China Leadership Summit reflects his focus on global issues. On campus, Andrew serves as a leader in multiple organizations, combining academic excellence, professional experience, and a commitment to impact.
